Rehat was born from a feeling its founder knew all too well — the exhaustion of rushing through days without ever truly resting. After one too many lunches eaten standing up and coffees gulped on the go, she dreamed of a neighborhood corner where time moved a little slower. In 2019, she turned that dream into a small, sunlit space tucked into a quiet street, furnished with worn-in chairs and the smell of freshly ground beans. She named it Rehat — the Indonesian word for rest — because that is exactly what she hoped every guest would find. What started as one woman's need for a breathing room quietly became a gathering place for anyone who needed the same.
